A New Hilton Business Credit Card – Earn up to 100,000 Bonus Points!

Hilton just launched their first ever business credit card where you can earn up to 100,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points! This is a brand new product which means everyone is eligible for the new member offer (as long as you are approved and meet the minimum spend requirement!). And since this is a business card, it will not count against your Chase "5/24" card count! With the 100,000 points from the sign up bonus, you can get you anywhere from 20 nights at a low level category to 1 free night at a high level category. UPDATE: This offer has expired.

Hilton just launched their first ever business credit card where you can earn up to 100,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points! With the Hilton Honors American Express Business Card you’ll earn 75,000 Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 in purchases on your Card in the first 3 months of Card Membership, and 25,000 Bonus Points after you make another $1,000 in purchases on your Card in your first 6 months. This is a brand new product which means everyone is eligible for the new member offer (as long as you are approved and meet the minimum spend requirement!). And since this is a business card, it will not count against your Chase “5/24” card count!

Card Details:

One of the best perks of this card is that you’ll earn Gold status as long as you are a cardmember. Having gold status at Hilton is actually pretty good, even though it is a mid-tier status. You’ll receive complimentary breakfast, and based on availability a room upgrade and concierge floor access. Also, Gold status will give you your 5th night free on award redemption.

With this card, you’ll earn also earn 12X at hotels & resorts in the Hilton portfolio, which is great for those that stay at Hilton properties often.

Now, if you are able to spend $15,000 in purchases on your card in a calendar year, you’ll receive a free weekend night reward certificate. This certificate is valid at almost all Hilton properties regardless of category or price. There just needs to be a standard room available and it has to be on a weekend. You can also earn this certificate every single year – it is not just a one time offer.

You’ll also receive Priority Pass™ Select Membership which will give you 10 free airport lounge certificates.

What are 100,000 Hilton Points Worth?

Last year Hilton introduced an entirely new program. Instead of “Hilton HHonors”, they are now “Hilton Honors” and the name change came along with an entirely new redemption process. Hilton got rid of their award chart and you’ll now be charged a certain number of points depending on the price of the hotel, although it is not a fixed rate. They also introduced a points and cash option where you can pick the amount of points and cash you’d like to use based on a sliding scale for every hotel stay.

Ultimately, the 100,000 points from the welcome bonus can get you anywhere from 20 nights at a low level category to 1 free night at a high level category. Remember, since this card gives you automatic status, you’ll receive your 5th night free when using points for your stay.

Below is the old reward chart that they got rid of. So the points required will not exceed the higher range amount for each category.

Amex Hilton Surpass 100K Offer

My thoughts

Although this card comes with a $95 annual fee, if you plan on staying at Hilton hotels throughout the year, having Hilton Gold status is a great status to have. Even though this is a mid-tier status, you’ll still receive complimentary breakfast, free internet, a possible upgrade and concierge floor, etc. You’ll also receive your 5th night free on award redemptions.

Keep in mind though that Hilton does run status matches often though, so if you have status with another hotel, you might easily be able to earn Gold status anyways. You can read more about the perks of Hilton status here.

I also love that this is a brand new product which means that if you have already received the card offer for the two previous Hilton American Express offers, you are still eligible for this offer. There is also one more brand new Hilton Amex offer that I’ll write about soon, although it comes with a $95 annual fee!
