Back in May Hilton announced their summer promotion where you’d earn double points on most hotel stays through August 31st.While earning double points through most of the summer, if you had travel plans around Labor Day you were out of luck. Fortunately though, it looks like the promotion has been extended and you can now earn the bonus points through September 9, 2018.

Hilton Honors
The registration page still states August 31st as an end date, but my Hilton contact emailed me today to tell me about the extension. So I promise you’ll earn the points through September 9th!

The bonus points you receive are on base points earned. For most Hilton properties you’ll earn your regular 10 Honors points, plus an additional 10 Honors bonus points, for a total of 20 points per dollar spent. You will not earn the double points on any bonus points earned from having elite status. At Home2 Suite and Tru properties you only earn 5 base points, so with this promotion you’ll earn a total of 10 points per dollar spent (5 base + 5 bonus).

Fortunately, all hotels are participating in this promotion except Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Mainland China. And there is also no maximum number of points you can earn with this promotion! You MUST register PRIOR to checking out of your hotel stay. You can register here.

For those with many upcoming Hilton stays, enjoy your bonus points!
