Howard Johnson hotels reached out last week and they want to giveaway 20,000 points to a lucky Deals We Like readers. I figured why not – who doesn’t love free points!
This giveaway is to help promote their “Happy Monday” offer where if you book your stay on a Monday you can get 35% off (must book by April 28 for a stay through May 1). To get this special rate, you essentially need to fill out a form (which you can access here) and you’ll receive a special “happy monday” discount code via email. This offer is valid for reservations made by April 28 for a stay through May 1 (unfortunately though Friday and Saturday night stays are excluded). You can check out all the Howard Johnson locations here.
Giveaway:
For those of you who are not aware, Howard Johnson is part of the Wyndham Rewards program. Wyndham Rewards include 14 total hotel chains where you can earn and redeem points across all hotels.
The winner of this giveaway will receive 20,000 Wyndham Rewards points which can be used towards two free nights at most Howard Johnson hotels.
I personally have never stayed at a Howard Johnson hotel, but as part of this giveaway I will also be receiving 20,000 Wyndham Reward points to check out a Howard Johnson hotel of my choice. While I am assuming this will be a different stay than at a Starwood property, I’m willing to give it a shot. I’ll also be sure to report back on my experience. Any suggestions on where I should go?!
How to enter:
- By next Monday, March 31, comment on THIS BLOG POST letting me know how you’ll use your 20,000 Wyndham Rewards points if you win – please only enter once!
- Winner will be selected on Tuesday, April 1 using random.org.
- The 20,000 points will take up to 7 days to post to your Wyndham Rewards account (points expire after 18 months of inactivity and 4 years after they are earned).
Enjoy!
