I just realized that I never wrote about Hyatt’s Fall promotion (or at least I cannot find it in my archives anywhere!). This promotion started September 1 and will run through November 30, 2014. With this promotion you can earn up to 50,000 bonus points after the maximum 20 nights (register here). Unfortunately though, this promotion is targeted.
This promotion is okay in my opinion, not really good and not really bad. Great if you are a business traveler with a bunch of upcoming Hyatt stays, but the regular leisure traveler probably won’t earn too many bonus points. For the leisure traveler, InterContinental’s “Into the Night” promotion is probably best.
One thing to know is stays at M Life hotels DO NOT count towards this promotion. If you have any stays at M Life hotels though, you can take advantage of this promotion.
This Fall promotion can also be combined with the targeted promotions that Hyatt sent out a few weeks back (related blog post). Below are the registration links, but if you are not able to register unfortunately that means you were not targeted.
- 2,000 points after one stay; 2,000 points maximum – registration link
- 5,000 points after one stay, 5,000 points maximum – registration link
- 10,000 points after 3 stays, 10,000 points maximum – registration link
- 50,000 points: 5000 points after 5 nights, 10000 points after 10 nights, 15000 points after 15 nights, 20000 points after 20 nights – registration link
It is quite disappointing though that both Hyatt’s promotions are targeted and currently there is no promotion available for all Hyatt Gold Passport members.

Seriously. You make this post after every blog site under the sun has already posted about this? And you fail to mention anywhere that this Hyatt promotion is targeted only. Is this one of those posts where you panic because you realize you need to post something just to keep yourself relevant? How about taking a few minutes to think first, and then submit a post with some original content. Oh, and get the details right also.
@Bard – Not sure why the hostility! I was putting together a post of all the current hotel chain promotions (post coming soon) and noticed I had yet to write about the Hyatt promo. Post has been updated to reflect that unfortunately it is targeted.
“This Hyatt Gold Passport account number is not eligible to participate in this promotion.”
@steven – Thank you for pointing out that this promotion is targeted. I updated the post.
right no need to bash a poster for late info, especially a creditable blogger from the past, cut some slack would you? i bet Bard never missed a deal for his wife/kids & got flak for it.
I think Bard’s “hostility” was driven by the fact when this promo initially hit twitter/blogs weeks ago, it created a pretty heated backlash due to its targeting and the multiple offers. Not sure how anyone could have missed that, which is what probably prompted the response above.
I apologize for my negative tone. It usually happens early in the morning prior to my 3rd cup of coffee. So, I guess it was just bad luck I was reading and responding to your post at that time.
Better late than never. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
Just ignore the hostility. Some people are just born to be assholes and no way you can change that.
