UPDATE: This offer has expired.
JetBlue just came out with their highest ever offer for the The JetBlue Plus Card. With this offer, you can earn a record high 100,000 points — 50,000 points after spending $1,000 on the card and paying the annual fee in full within the first 90 days, and an additional 50,000 points after spending a total of $6,000 on purchases within the first 12 months.
With JetBlue points worth a fixed amount around 1.3 cents per point, this makes the offer worth about $1,300 towards JetBlue travel. If you are in the market for a new card, this is definitely one I would recommend looking into — especially since the minimum spend is quite low.
The JetBlue Plus offer gives you 6x points on all JetBlue purchases, 2x points at restaurants and office supply stores, and 1x point on all other purchases. You’ll also receive 5,000 bonus points on every account anniversary, which is worth about $65. By having the card you’ll receive 1 free checked bag, plus a free checked bag for up to to 3 companions on same reservation. And if you are a big spender you can earn Mosaic status by spending $50,000 on the card in the same calendar year.
While the above perks are decent, my favorite benefit of the card is that you’ll receive 10% back in points when you redeem for a flight. Depending on how many points you redeem over the year, the value in points you receive back can definitely make paying the annual fee worthwhile compared to the no annual fee version of the card.
I actually have the business version of the card, the JetBlue Business Card, so I will absolutely be applying for the personal version. Earning 100,000 points quite easily will go a long way in my family, especially since we live in a JetBlue hub. And since you can pool your families points together, if you and your significant other both get a card, you can pool your points together to redeem from a single account.
Will you be applying for this new card offer?
