Since I’ve had the pleasure of traveling with my daughter for the past almost three years, I am always asked the question “What is the best stroller to bring?”. I’ve actually traveled with a few different strollers depending on her age and destination, but one of the easiest and most compact options has been the Mountain Buggy Nano. This is one of the few strollers that is actually small enough to fit in an overhead compartment on the plane! It is also narrow enough to fit through the aisle for most planes.
This is just an FYI that this stroller is pricing out at a $100 less than the typical price. They are introducing a 2016 model, so the prior version is almost half off! Currently, you can purchase the red one for $149 on Amazon instead of $249 which it is still pricing out at at almost all other stores.
It also comes with its own travel bag which can be wheeled through the airport. While I have never had an issue with any of my strollers breaking from being gate checked, I have heard some horror stories. I also like this stroller that it is not flimsy like an umbrella stroller, but almost just as light. You can even wear it like a shoulder bag!
From quickly reading up on it, it looks like the 2016 model has a few new features which may or may not be useful to you. It does recline more to a flat position and has a more extended canopy, both can definitely be a huge selling point. And the wheel width is an inch slimmer, which doesn’t matter much to me.

It appears to be $199 on Amazon but it’s $149 + tax at WalMart.
