Just yesterday, Marriott hotels started to include Delta Hotels and Resorts in their portfolio. Delta Hotels include 35 properties throughout Canada and 1 random property in Orlando, Florida. This means, you can now earn and redeem Marriott points at many more properties that were previously not underneath the Marriott umbrella. Currently, only 22 of the Delta Hotels properties are part of the Marriott portfolio with the remaining properties joining in April.

Overall…

I am always happy to see new properties being added to the Marriott portfolio so this is good in my opinion. There are also some decent locations for travelers from the US including Montreal, Toronto, Quebec, and Whistler. And another Marriott redemption property at Disney World can never hurt as well. The hotels also have a huge range of categories so you’ll need to check the specific property to see how many point it requires per night. As with all Marriott hotels, you’ll receive your 5th night free when using points.

Have you ever stayed in any of these Delta properties? Any you’d recommend?
