Post #19 compliments of Mr. Dealsβ¦
I don’t even know what to do with myself. Mrs. Deals is gone for two weeks (actually just over two weeks). Maybe I should take a trip right? How mad do you think she would be if I did it without her? I’m sure I’d be in trouble…
So yeah, Mrs. Deals is frolicking around Spain on some work trip. Sadly, I couldn’t join her on this trip. One can only take so many days off a year and Mrs. Deals demands a lot. Even so, she is supposed to be there “working.” I don’t know if I believe that is actually happening as she’s told me she’s already sunburnt.
Regardless, what does this mean for Mr. Deals? Actually not a whole lot. Truth be told I miss Mrs. Deals, but what I’m not missing is her trying to plan another trip for us. That said, my first email from Mrs. Deals no less than 5 hours after she had landed in Barcelona was one of “we have to come here.” I envision that when she returns we will be sitting down to talk about when we are going to Europe for a trip. I know I shouldn’t complain but the nice thing is that it won’t be part of the dinner conversation for the next couple of weeks.
Also, I guess I’m going to actually have to start reading this blog (just kidding babe). My human database of points and miles knowledge won’t be able to give me the daily download of the latest and greatest earning opportunities. How else am I supposed to keep my friends and co-workers up-to-date? It’s sure going to be quiet around here!
Well, wish me luck these next two weeks. I’ll probably start posting here and there on my twitter handle @MrDealsWeLike. Keep up with how I’m staying sane with Mrs. Deals overseas.

Ha ha. Enjoy it will you can. Once you have kids, a work trip for one means the other is 100% on daddy duty (or mommy duty). π
You are funny, Mr. Deals. π I am sure this is how my other half feels too. Enjoy your short-lived “freedom”. π
