No Frills Airline – A past look at the future…

Mr. Deals’ aunt sent me this video last week and I wanted to share it with you. It is slightly long, about 10 minutes or so, but is pretty funny in my opinion – well worth a break from work.

Essentially this is a clip from the Carol Burnett show taken place in the 70’s. This video from the past speculated what air travel will be like in the future, and they are pretty spot on. They predicted the extra charges for everything – luggage, food, seats, etc. This clip fully depicts the no-frills of airline flying today and then the royal treatment in first/business class.

And yes, I had to use Wikipedia to read up more on this show as it is way before my time.

Enjoy!

This is such a classic bit of comedy from one of the funniest shows on back in the 70’s. I’m old enough to remember it airing, although I was a kid at the time. Who would have thought the predictions may come true? Thanks for sharing this fun sketch!
