Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Starting March 27, JetBlue is changing the way you earn points for your Amazon purchases – and it is not in our favor! While you’ll still earn 3x points for all Amazon purchases made in-flight, you will NOT earn 3x points for purchases made while not flying. Currently, you earn 3x points for all Amazon purchases regardless of where and when you make the purchases.
Earning points, miles, cash back on Amazon is very limited and JetBlue has been one of the best options thus far. So if you know of a large Amazon purchase you are looking to make and you have an upcoming JetBlue flight, it is worth holding off on the purchase until you are in the air on a JetBlue flight. Or just try to make your purchases within the next few weeks.

Well, speaking for everyone… That sucks…. Of course Amazon will still get sales so they do not really have to do any kind of program, but, fo me having never flown JetBlue, I have gained almost enough miles to fly from purchases, but now will not, or purchase a companion ticket, so JB loses on that one..
how often would someone be on a flight to make a purchase?
Unless they are giving something like 50% purchases very few will shop while flying. Yes Jetblue offer more leg room but i think most persons rather watch a movie or get some rest whist flying.
