If visiting Madrid is on your radar, there are incredibly cheap flights right now from Boston and New York. From both cities you can actually fly non-stop on Iberia Airlines for just $280! There is a ton of availability for the entire Spring and Fall. Relatively inexpensive Summer fares are available too, although not nearly as good (still in the $600 range roundtrip though).

  • Spring BOS-MAD: $280
  • Spring JFK-MAD: $320
  • Fall BOS-MAD: $340
  • Fall: JFK-MAD: $340

Just this morning I wrote about an Iberia sale where you can fly roundtrip for just 25,500 points in economy. While this is typically a great offer, with fares this incredibly low, using points is definitely not worth it. The promotion is better if you are looking to fly this summer with higher fares or if you are looking to fly business class.

Overall…

This is a great sale to get to Madrid or another destination in Spain. While fares to Europe have been relatively low over the past few years, this is a ridiculously low price! You can also book now and you have 24 hours to cancel. Will you be booking?
