Earlier this week I wrote a post on how to utilize the Amex Offer deals and purchase a variety of gift cards at a discount. If you’ve already taken advantage of those offers, do not have an American Express credit card, or simply do not want to be bothered, there is a slightly easier way to purchase gift cards for less right now at Staples.

So here are the gift cards you can currently buy at a discount at Staples online:

California Pizza Kitchen: You can purchase a CPK gift card for 20% off. So a $50 gift card will cost you $40. This is available through email delivery.

1-800-Flowers: You can purchase a 1-800-Flowers gift card at a 20% discount so a $25 gift card will cost you $20. This is available through email delivery as well (you can purchase a physical gift card via mail but it will cost you an additional $1.99) These gift cards can also be redeemed at 1-800-Baskets, Cheryl’s, Fannie May, Harry London, The Popcorn Factory, and Fruit Bouquets.

iTunes: Since this is only available as a physical card you are charged $1.99 shipping which brings your savings to a 15% discount. So a $50 card can be purchased for $42.50.

Kohl’s: Only the $100 gift cards are discounted to $90, so a 10% savings. This card is also available via email delivery.

Staples: Purchase a $100 eGift card and you’ll receive a $20 promo card to use in January (valid 1/2-1/31/15). While this is a bonus instead of a discount, you can think of it as a 16.5% savings on your gift card purchase. This promotion is limited to two per account.
