Radisson is running a promotion where if you pay with your American Express credit card you will get your third night free. While I did not check out every single possible hotel out there, I did check out the Radisson Aruba since I have an upcoming stay there. While this promotion at the Radisson Aruba still won’t be worthwhile for my particular scenario since I am using points and have the Club Carlson credit card (so get a free night stay), I did find the promotional rate to be much better then the current best available and AAA rate. This promotion is available for hotels in North America and South America and excludes the Radisson Blu properties. You can check rates and book your reservation here.
Here is an example of how this works out well for the Radisson in Aruba:
Promotion rate comes out to an average of $272/night. The first and second night price out at $404 and the third night is free.
The best non-promotional rate I found for the exact same dates was the AAA rate. This rate was significantly higher averaging out at $455.20/night. The first and second night were much cheaper then the above rate ($326/night), but the third night is incredibly expensive at $712/night!
This offer ends January 15, 2015 and remember you must pay with your American Express credit card upon checkout. Back-to-back reservations are allowed, so if you have a 6-night stay, for example, you’ll get the 3rd and 6th night free. Make sure to check out this rate compared to all of the other best available rates possible as promotional rates sometimes do not always come out to be cheaper! I still prefer the BOGO opportunity with the Club Carlson credit card though!
Thanks to Point Me to the Plane for sharing this promotion!
