Back in December of last year, Hyatt announced their “Endless Possibilities” promotion for stays January 15 through April 30, 2014. It is a relatively decent promotion compared to some of the other hotel promotions currently available, but to take advantage you must register by Monday, March 31, 2014.
The good thing about this promotion is that even stays prior to registering will count, so you can really wait to the last possible second to see which of the two promotions is best for you! With this promotion you can register for one of two promotions:
- After every 5 nights, earn a free night – Free nights can be redeemed at any category 1-4 hotel and you can earn up to 4 free nights per account. Free nights must be redeemed by July 31, 2014. There are also no blackout dates with these free nights, so as long as there is a room available it is yours.
- After every 5 nights, earn bonus points – This is a tiered promotion where you will earn in increments of 5 nights. The minimum points you can earn is 5,000 and the maximum is 50,000. You’ll earn the following:
If you are able to max out this promotion, you can essentially earn 4 free nights (capped at a cat 4 hotel) or 50,000 points. A category 4 night is currently equivalent to 15,000 points, so 4 of them can be compared to 60,000 points. I personally would opt for the 50,000 points to give me some flexibility on redemption options. However, if you are only going to stay 5 nights, for example, I’d select the free night option over the 5,000 points.
Just remember to register for the promotion that is best for you as there is no switching later on! Register for free nights here; Register for bonus points here
