Saving $20 with American Express!
With this Amex Offer, if you spend $100 or more on your registered American Express credit card, you’ll receive a $20 statement credit, which is pretty awesome! Unfortunately though, there is no Twitter hashtag available so you’ll have to sign into your AmericanExpress.com account to see if you are eligible, although it seems to be widely available.
Maximizing your Savings at Disney
Let’s assume you are going to Disney just just the day. Purchasing a value ticket for Epcot (restricted dates) will cost you $105.44 (including tax) when purchasing directly from Disney. While there are some other ways to get discounted tickets such subscribing to MouseSavers, Undercover Tourist will cost you $109.69. While this is slightly more then purchasing direct from disney, you’ll receive the $20 statement credit bringing the cost down to $89.69, a savings of approximately $16. Undercover Tourists has many ticket options that are less expensive then purchasing from Disney directly as well, so the savings plus the $20 statement credit will ultimately save you a higher percentage. Remember, Disney now charges different prices based on date, so make sure to get the correct ticket (Value, Regular, Peak) for when you plan to go.
Unfortunately Undercover Tourist does not sell gift cards to their site or allow multiple credit cards as a form of payment per transaction, so it is hard to fully maximize, but you can always make separate purchases if the numbers work out well.
The Amex Offer expires January 1, 2018, which means that you simply must purchase your attraction ticket by this date, it does not mean you actually must visit Disney (or any other park) by then! Just make sure to check ticket expiration dates. Check out all the offers at Undercover Tourist.
