Over the past few months I’ve written about some really good Amex Offers where you can save money at a ton of participating merchants! While many of them are for random shopping merchants, I wanted to highlight the ones that will specifically save you money for travel. Currently, if you are looking to go on a cruise, stay at a Hilton hotel, book a hotel through hotels.com, or travel on Air France, you are in luck! Here is a list of the merchants along with the requirements to save some money:
- World’s Leading Cruise Lines: Spend $500+, get a $100 statement credit. Expires 4/14/2017.
- Tip: Valid for Carnival, Holland America, Princess, Seabourn, or Cunard. See www.wlcl.com/amex for full terms.
- Norwegian Cruise Line: Spend $500+, get a $100 statement credit. Expires 4/30/2017.
- Tip: Must book directly with Norwegian. Do not have to travel by this date, the charge just must hit your credit card by this date.
- Oceania Cruises: Spend $500+, get a $150 statement credit. Expires 2/28/2017.
- Tip: Must book cruise by 2/28/17 but can travel a later date.
- Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels: Spend $350+, receive a $70 statement credit. Expires 3/311/2017. Blog Post

- Hilton Hotels & Resorts + Curio Collection: Spend $250+, get 3,500 Membership Reward points. Expires 4/15/2017.
- Tip: Check out bill must total $250 or more, which can include taxes and any incidentals on the bill.
- Hilton Gift Card: Spend $75+, get a $5 statement credit. Expires 4/3/2017. Related blog post
- Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn: Spend $175+, get a $35 statement credit. Expires 3/17/2017. Related blog post
- Tip: The charge must hit your credit card by December 31st. Only valid at Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn properties (not other properties under the Hilton umbrella) within the U.S. and U.S. territories.
- Hotels.com Gift Cards: Spend $50+, get a $10 statement credit. Expires 2/28/2017.
- Air France: Spend $1,000, get 20,000 Membership Reward points. Expires 4/14/2017. Related blog post
- Tip: The minimum spend can be split amongst multiple reservations.

For the NCL offer, can we book through Costco? I’ve tried to read multiple threads, but can’t seem to determine.
@Hiren – I am not sure. It all depends on how Costco codes the reservation. Are you paying Costco or NLC? If Costco then I do not believe it will work as your credit card will show a charge from Costco.
For World’s Leading Cruise Lines deal? Do we need to travel by 4/14/2017 or can make a reservation for future date (after 4/14/201) but buy it before 4/14/2017. Thank you
@Kishore – It needs to hit your credit card by this date. So if the cruise charges you immediately you are fine. It doesn’t really matter when you take the cruise, if it is now or for the future, just all depends on when you are charged.
