If you are looking to test drive some cars (or have some spare time and looking to make some free money), Hyundai is offering an opportnity to get a free gift card simply for test driving – no purchase necessary. You’ll receive a $40 gift card to either Amazon, Target, or Visa.
Register for the promo
Go to the Hyundai site, click on “Local Offers”, enter your zip code, and select the “Promotions” button.
Give the site a few seconds to load and the screen shot below should appear. If it doesn’t, then that Hyundai dealership is not participating in the promotion. Make sure to fill out the form properly. No purchase necessary. You are also limited to one coupon redemption per household per 6 months. So if you have taken advantage one of the previous offers, unfortunately you cannot take advantage this time around.
RISKS:
Unfortunately, many dealerships do not even know what to do with these promotional codes that you bring in when you go to test drive the car. Many readers have taken advantage of these offers in the past, and I’d say it was a 50/50 success rate. Many received the gift card (and didn’t even have to test drive the car and they were in and out within minutes), while others had managers give them a hard time and would not honor the gift card promotion. This is a 100% legit offer, it is just that some dealerships are either unaware or do not want to hand out a gift card to those not actually interested in buying a car (or even if you are interested in buying a car!).

First zip code I entered did not produce an offer. Changed zip & the offer tab appeared on the left. Switched back to original zip and got the pop-up.
