I just read on DansDeals that starting tomorrow, Target will no longer allow REDCard loads via credit card. While I am not surprised that it is ending, I did think it would last a little longer. But, it has been a nice run for the past 7 or so months.

Target has been hit with a bunch of security breach and fraud purchases over the years, so I believe this is the reason for the change. Many will believe it is because of maximizing the “points and miles” game, but typically this is not the case.

I have a 10 month old. In a way I think its a advantage and never have any problems loading up the bird. Sometimes when I am solo I will be scrutinized a bit more.
