I just read on DansDeals that starting tomorrow, Target will no longer allow REDCard loads via credit card. While I am not surprised that it is ending, I did think it would last a little longer. But, it has been a nice run for the past 7 or so months.
Target has been hit with a bunch of security breach and fraud purchases over the years, so I believe this is the reason for the change. Many will believe it is because of maximizing the “points and miles” game, but typically this is not the case.
If you live near a Target and haven’t met your $5,000 spend yet for the month, I suggest heading on over there today to get your last and final load. I am actually considering doing just that later today after baby deals wakes up from her nap. While I hate entering Target with a rambunctious 2-year old, this might just be worth it!
On to the next deal…

Well, I am very glad I applied for only one cc yesterday!

I have a 10 month old. In a way I think its a advantage and never have any problems loading up the bird. Sometimes when I am solo I will be scrutinized a bit more.
@rusty – hahah! big difference though between 10 month old and 23 month old! mine will not sit in the stroller unless many many snacks, many toys, and no distractions making her want to get out of the stroller!
