A few weeks ago, Chase added another transfer partner for Chase Ultimate Reward points. You can now transfer your points earned to the Virgin Atlantic Fly Club program at a 1:1 ratio. This means that your points earned vis the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Bold, and Chase Ink Plus are now transferable to the following programs (all at a 1:1 ratio):
- Airlines: United, British Airways, Korean Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Virgin Atlantic
- Hotels: Hyatt, Priority Club, Marriott, Ritz Carlton
- Other: Amtrak
While I think most of you will still be transferring your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to the existing partner programs, some might find value in Virgin Atlantic. Also, Virgin Atlantic transfers to Hilton as a 2:1 ratio, so this is a way to ultimately get your Chase UR points to Hilton even though they aren’t a direct partner. Still, you’ll find better value in Hyatt as a transfer hotel program, but this does open up some options.
You can also redeem Virgin Atlantic points on many international carriers along with Virgin America to fly within the US. Like many other international carriers, you will be paying some hefty fuel surcharges when redeeming your points so for that soul purpose probably won’t be too beneficial for most of you.

I’ll still be using my Chase Ultimate Reward points for Hyatt, United, and British Airways as I still think they have the best value (you can read more on the best redemptions for hotel stays and air travel in the above series).
