For those new to the blog here is a little bit about me!
My passion (and obsession!) for travel deals and points started the day I graduated college and took a job in management consulting. I’d spend every Monday through Thursday hotel hoping and embarking on long plane rides just to earn the extra points and miles. Since I was traveling all the time I decided that I was really going to take advantage of the points and miles game. I would wake up at 4am on Monday mornings saying to myself, this is worth it – I am going to go on the best honeymoon ever!!! And…. I did! Plus a hell of a lot more!
My love for travel, however, started when I was young as I fortunately had the opportunity to travel quite often with my family. At that time it was my dad managing my frequent flyer accounts and showing me the ropes. My family got bumped on almost every trip we took and I loved how we were able to fly free most of the time. I loved the crazy travel adventure and the deals that went along with it! I think my dad is now thrilled to trade roles and now have someone else manage the families accounts and travel!
I am so proud of my blog and how far it has come since I started in 2011. Two kids later, I am now learning more about the family side of travel and excited to show my kids the world!
