WOW Air just announced their Black Friday deal which they are coining as “Purple Friday”. With this sale you’ll be able to grab a $69 flight one-way to Iceland and a $99 flight to many other European cities, including Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, and London Gatwick. These discounted fares just went live and are available for purchase through midnight November 25, 2018. If you are looking to travel between now and April 2019 these are some great prices! Although the sale does say fares “starting at” so you will need to be flexible to see the cheapest fares available.

Additionally, on Cyber Monday, WOW Air is offering 40% off all flights to ALL WOW air destinations by using promo code WOWCYBERMONDAY. This promo code will be for flights purchased November 26 through November 28, 2018.

a woman wearing a purple hat and scarfI did a quick search for flights between Boston and Reykjavik and while I found plenty of $69 fares going there, there were none to be found on the return. Although you can easily find a flight home for around $109-$119. To fly roundtrip to Iceland for less than $200 is pretty amazing!

a screenshot of a flight scheduleI personally flew WOW Airline a few years back and had a great experience. The planes were clean, on time and got me to where I needed to go. Just keep in mind that they charge extra for carry on bags, seat assignments, etc. so take that into account when pricing out your flight.

I also had a great vacation in Iceland and would highly recommend a trip there — although I prefer the warmer months.

No, return flights are like $149 – It’s really a good deal! I’ve flown WOW Air to Iceland – It was cheap and I loved it!
