IHG recently launched a promotion where you can use up 25% less points to redeem for a free night in New York City. This is a great offer for those lookin to stay at one of five IHG properties between now and April 30, 2019. While the full service InterContinental properties are not participating, I personally prefer these discounted ones anyways. I am actually a huge fan of the Hotel Indigo in the Lower East Side.

This is a great opportunity to save some points on an upcoming trip to New York City. Just remember though, in February and even some of March, cash rates can be incredibly low so using points might not be worth your while. So definitely do some research to ensure you are getting the best value for your points!
