This week only, Silvercar is offering 30%-40% off when you rent with them. This is valid for all car rentals picked up starting before June 15, 2016. With this promotion I received two different emails from Silvercar (to two different registered email addresses) giving me a 30% off and 40% off code. From the email it looks like everyone is eligible for the 30% off code, but only new customers are eligible for the 40% off code. Although, I suggest trying the 40% off code first to see if it works in your account! Use code JUNE30 for 30% off and code FIRST40 for 40% off. You can check out prices and make a reservation here.
The unique thing about Silvercar is that you are renting one type of vehicle, a Audi A4’s. Renting a car with them is seamless as there is no paperwork to fill out (you complete your profile ahead of time), an employee will pick you up at the airport in your car as well as and drop you off at the airport – no car rental shuttles. Currently, Silvercar is at the following airports locations: Austin, Chicago, Dallas Love Field, Dallas Fr. Worth (closing July 1, 2016), Denver, Ft. Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Phoenix, and San Francisco.
Silvercar is competing in the high end car rental market and while their rates are definitely more expensive, you are essentially paying more for the experience and convenience. Me personally, I typically will only pay a slight premium for that, but it all depends on how you like to roll! Where I really see value is if you are looking for a one day rental. If you are new to Silvercar, after you complete first rental you’ll get $25 back from Silvercar – within 24 hours after you complete the reservation you’ll receive an email from Silvercar and will be paid $25 via a gift card. To receive this credit you must sign up through another members referral.
Overall, a nice way to save money on a car rental if you were going to rent with Silvercar anyways. If you are comparing the rates against another car rental company, i.e., Avis, Budget, etc. you’ll typically find Silvercar to be much more expensive, but it really depends on the location and what you are looking for.

They actually do have a shuttle bus at the Denver location. My wife describes it as “not the average rental car shuttle as they are all Silver Car renters” 🙂
