In just a week I took on an entirely new career — teacher to an almost 4 and 7 year old. Although I am not pushing school down their throat as my end goal is that they are healthy and happy, there are many great books you can get at Amazon to help kids continue their learning. Fortunately, Amazon is also helping customers keep their costs down as right now, they are offer a “Buy two, get one free” promotion on all books.

My personal favorite homeschooling books at Amazon

Bob Books

Bob Books are wonderful for pre-readers and those getting starting to read. There are many different levels — depending on where your child is at — and they truly do help on the reading side. They also give kids a ton of confidence to think they know how to read.

National Geographic

National Geographic is a great way to learn about science, animals and the world. There are a few including in this promotion, which can help teach your child about certain topics in a fun way.

Rosie Revere, Engineer

Rosie Revere, Engineer is one of our absolute favorite books at home. My daughter starting reading this book, along with Iggy Peck, Architect and Ada Twist, Scientist a few years ago and it brings such inspiration to young females. I get these books for friends birthday’s often and this is an incredibly low price for them, especially with the added promotion.

Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus

If you are a Mo Willems fan, there are a few of his books including in this sale, including Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. Also included in the promotion is the completeMo Willem’s Elephant & Piggie collection. Although quite pricey, it includes 25 books which comes out to about $3.56 per book — an incredibly cheap price.. These books hold a special place in both my kids bookshelves and a truly a favorite amongst all kids. They are great for learning to read and teaching valuable lessons.

My First I Can Draw

If you have a child that likes art, My First I Can Draw book does a great job outlining the steps to draw many objects and animals. My daughter loves it and it can keep her occupied for hours.

Overall…

While those are just some of my personal favorites, there are six pages of books included which should help most families find books to suit their needs. — Whether you just need to increase your home library or you are looking for something specific to help engage your child over the next few months, this is a great promotion. Not only are the books discounted, but you’ll also receive a free book when you purchase three books.
