Sign up for Rakuten (formerly Ebates) and earn an easy $30

Rakuten, formerly known as Ebates, is offering $30 to all new members. The only requirement to earn the free money is that you must spend $30 through a partner merchant online. Essentially this means you are getting your $30 of purchased items for free. You must, however, create your account through a referral link. Best of all, if you refer your friends, you can also get $30 as a referral bonus. The only requirement here is that your friend must complete the $30 of purchased items requirement for your bonus to kick in. There is also no cap to the amount of money you can earn through the refer-a-friend bonus.

Now, for those of you who have no ideaÂ what an online shopping portal is, here is my quick explanation:
