There is currently a promotion for targeted Amazon.com accounts where if you purchase a $50 gift card you’ll receive a a free $10 promotion code to use at Amazon at a future time. While I was not targeted this time around, I have been able to take advantage of a similar offer in the past and everything went smoothly. I purchased my $50 gift card, applied it to my account, received my $10 promotional credit within a reasonable time, and was able to apply it to my account as well and use it a few days later. There really doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to their targeting system.
You’ll need to sign onto your Amazon account, add a $50 gift card to your cart and use the promotional code 0516GCARDS to see if it accepts the code. Or, you can go directly to this site and see if you are eligible.
If you are eligible and shop at Amazon, this is a great offer! Essentially all you need to do is purchase a Amazon.com Gift Card by May 31, 2016 and within a few days you’ll receive your $10 promotional code via email. You can then enter both the $50 gift card and $10 promotion code into your account to use for a future purchase (go to Your Account > Apply a Gift Card to Your Account).
Were you targeted for this $10 free promotion credit deal? If so, enjoy!

How many times can you do this for your account?
@Jason – Once per eligible account.
Hello !
Can you tell me where I can buy plain Visa or MC cards using my AMEX credit card. I do not want online cards, just the regular Visa or MC that one can use for
gas, food, etc.
Thank You,
Robert
@Rob Toman – Staples always has them. Or typically your local grocery store.
Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this offer.
