American Airlines is running quite an interesting Black Friday promotion, where if you book a flight now, you can save later. Fortunately, you have until Dec. 1, 2020 to book your flight for travel through March 31, 2021.
The future savings will then depend on the cost of the ticket.
- Spend $199, get 10% off a future flight
- Spend between $200 and $499, get 12% off a future flight
- Spend between $500 and $999, get 15% off a future flight
- Spend over $1,000, get 20% off a future flight
Compared to all of the other domestic airline promotions, this is definitely a better one, but it truly only works for those that are looking to travel within the next few months. I personally will be sitting this one out as I am not traveling by airplane right now — due to the obvious — but if you are able to find a good fare and are traveling anyways, you might as well save money on a future flight as well.
