With many credit cards, if you are a card holder for a particular card and you refer a friend (who signs up and is approved), you’ll receive some sort of bonus offer. It’s a win-win, your friend gets a great sign up offer and you earn some bonus points. Keep in mind though the refer-a-friend link does not always have the limited time bonus offers for all cards, so make sure to do some research to ensure you are getting the best possible offer!

Fortunately, the Hyatt credit card just joined the bandwagon and you can now refer a friend for this card and earn 10,000 bonus points. Currently, the regular sign up offer and the refer a friend offer are exactly the same – 40,000 points after spending $2,000 on the card within the first three months. You should absolutely try to get as many friends as possible to sign up for the card – you can do so via email, Twitter, and Facebook. Of course though, you are limited to earning 50,000 bonus points per calendar year, so 5 friends max. Although you are capped, that is still a nice amount of points which can get you a few free nights at a top end hotel!

Process to Refer Your Friends

If you are currently a Hyatt credit card member, you should have received an email letting you know that you can now earn bonus points. In the body of the email there is a red button that says “Invite Friends Now.” From there, you’ll be able to send a personalized link to your friends. Or, you can go straight to this site and enter your last name, zip code, and last 4 digits of your Hyatt credit card. It is an extremely easy process!

And in case anybody is looking to sign up for the Hyatt credit card offer, here is my personal referral link (thanks in advance!), but feel free to leave yours in the comments section as well for other blog readers.
