There is currently a promotion for targeted Amazon.com accounts where if you purchase a $50 gift card you’ll receive a a free $10 promotion code to use at Amazon at a future time. While I was not targeted this time around, I have been able to take advantage of a similar offer multiple times in the past and everything went smoothly. I purchased my $50 gift card, applied it to my account, received my $10 promotional credit within a reasonable time, and was able to apply it to my account as well and use it a few days later. There really doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to their targeting system.
You’ll need to sign onto your Amazon account, add a $50 gift card to your cart and use the promotional code 1115GCARDS to see if it accepts the code.
If you are eligible and shop at Amazon, this is a great offer! Essentially all you need to do is purchase a Amazon.com Gift Card by November 26, 2015, within a few days you’ll receive your $10 promotional code via email. The $10 promo code must be used by January 12, 2016. You can then enter both the $50 gift card and $10 promotion code into your account to use for a future purchase (go to Your Account > Apply a Gift Card to Your Account). I’ve heard mixed results about purchasing two $25 gift cards – some state that it did not work for them last month, so to be cautious I recommend purchasing one $50 gift card.
Were you targeted for this $10 free promotion credit deal? If so, enjoy!
