A great offer just came out a few days ago where if you make a $10 purchase at DollarShaveClub.com, you’ll receive a $10 statement credit. Meaning your $10 item is literally free! While this is a targeted offer and you’ll need to check your AmericanExpress.com account to see if you are eligible, I personally saw this offer on all of my cards but one. Make sure to use the multiple browser trick to save the offer on all of your cards.
You Can Even Making Money with an Online Shopping Portal!
While getting a $10 item for free is great, it gets even better because you can go through an online shopping portal first and get cash back on your purchase. If you are not familiar with these portals, they are an online website that you go to first, search for the store, and then you are taken directly to the desired merchants website. You then continue to shop at that merchant the same exact was as if you went to the site first. Your purchase is tracked in the background and you’ll then earn points, miles, or cash back (depending on the site used) for your purchase. It is an extremely simple process and literally takes an extra minute to complete your purchase.
I checked all the shopping portals and it seems like TopCashBack.com and Swagbucks are the only ones that will give you cash back when shopping at DollarShaveClub.com. With TopCashBack.com, the current cash back offer is extremely high! Razor purchases are at 15% cash back and all other purchases at 12% cash back. That means on every $10 purchase you make, you’ll receive $1.50 or $1.20 cash back. While not a huge money maker, this is a great opportunity to get free items and make money at the same time! With Swagbucks, you’ll get 1,975 SwagBucks (worth ~$20), but it is only for signing up for the Dollar Club Shave Club Starter Box. You also must stay subscribed past 2 months. For most of you, TopCashBack will be the way to go, unless you are interested in the specific subscription.
Fully Maximizing With Multiple Amex Cards
If you have multiple American Express credit cards eligible for this offer, you are probably best off purchasing $10 gift cards. So let’s say you have 5 eligible (and registered!) credit cards, go ahead and purchase separate $10 gift card on all your cards. You can then use those gift cards in a single transactions at a future time to purchase a larger order. As of right now you can purchase any increment you want, but if this becomes very popular I could potentially see them pulling the $10 gift cards. Pure speculation.

The email from American Express also came immediately after purchasing the gift card letting me know that I used the Amex Offer and will see the $10 statement credit on my account. I’ll probably use them to buy a nice gift for my husband, brother, or dad!

I got the same thing. Even better, worth $20 worth of travel if you have the Plat Business card.
10 out of 12 accounts have it but all mine are for $1,000 points too.
Can u use multiple giftcards at the same time to pay for a purchase? Assuming you have bought the $10 denomination.

Because I see “Get 1,000 additional Membership Rewards points one-time by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $10+ in one or more eligible transactions online at dollarshaveclub.com by 7/15/2017. See terms for exclusions.” So what if I signed up for a subscription for $1 for the first month, paid $9 the next month and then canceled the 3rd month?

I’m usually confused in matters regarding points and the like, so I usually take any point offers lightly. But, after seeing how you play around with cash back offers to your advantage, I’m curious to try it out. I wonder if it’s available outside US though.
