Joining the Coronavirus travel deals today is Frontier Airlines. Just book a roundtrip flight between now and March 16, 2020 and you’ll receive 90% off your base fare. This is for travel through April 22, 2020 although Friday and Sunday travel are excluded. Use code SAVE90 to get this deal.
While paying just 10% of the base fare is pretty awesome, they do get you with the added on taxes/fees. These fares come up quite often with Frontier, although right now they are waiving all fees on new reservations if you need to change or cancel your flight.
Just remember though, the sale is only for roundtrip flights booked.
While this sale is only available for flights booked over the next five weeks, there are many routes and dates available, which means you should be able to find a great deal. Also keep in mind that with Frontier you’ll pay for carry on bags that do not fit under your and seat assignments — so pack light and sit wherever to save money! Even with the extra cost though, chances are you won’t find this cheap of a fare on another airline.
Combine with Kids Fly Free
Frontier has had an ongoing promotion where kids can can fly for free as long as one member in the party has a Discount Den membership which costs $59.99.Â
With the “Kids Fly Free†promotion no promo code is needed, just add a child (14 years old and under) when searching for your flight and you’ll notice that they will fly 100% for free! The only stipulation is that you must fly roundtrip (one-way flights are no longer eligible) and travel is limited to certain days of the week. (For this time period, just Tuesday and Wednesday travel)
The only caveat is that the discounted fare must be available through their “Discount Den†availability fare. If the fare is not available, then you will not be able to combine the two promos. And, you must purchase at least 14 days in advance.
Overall…
This is an awesome way to travel, if you can make the dates work. Anyone able to take advantage of this promotion?
