Great Deal! 83% off from Giftagram

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

Back in September I wrote about the app Giftagram where you could purchase your gift item for 63% off. That has now been increased to 83% off as you can combine two different promotions and purchase a $60 gift/item for only $10! Giftagram is actually a pretty cool concept where you can send a gift to someone and you do not need to have their address. You just enter the recipients phone number and email address and they receive a message on how to redeem the gift that was sent their way. The big problem with this site is that items are overpriced, but by combining these two offers you can actually purchase something quite nice for incredibly cheap!

While Giftagram is slightly over priced compared to the same product you can purchase elsewhere, by combining these two offers you can actually purchase something quite nice for incredibly cheap! Also, many items offer free shipping (you can sort by free shipping too).

Earlier this summer I wrote about a newish app called Drop. With Drop you earn points after making a purchase at a participating merchant with your linked credit/debit card. Right now, they have a one-time offer after making a purchase at Giftagram. Make a $40+ purchase, receive 30,000 Drop points. The previous offer was only offering 20,000 points! That is equivalent to $30 and can be redeemed for a variety of gift cards, such as Starbucks, Old Navy, Dunkin’ Donuts, iTunes, Amazon, Nordstrom, Whole Foods, etc. I always redeem for Amazon gift cards since I make purchases at Amazon all the time anyways and think of it as cash. If you are new to Drop you can sign up here or use my referral code ov7lj – feel free to leave your referral code in the comments section as well. FYI: Make sure you activate the offer prior to making the purchase!

If you are new to Giftagram, which I assume most of you are, you can sign up with a referral code and receive $20 off your first gift purchase. The previous offer was only offering $15 off your first purchase. That means you can purchase a $60 gift, get $20 off your purchase, and your final price of $40 will trigger the 30,000 bonus points from Drop. Since the 30,000 points is equivalent to $20, this means your $60 purchase will ultimately cost you only $10! That is a great deal! Giftagram is only available for iOS devices – you can download it here and enter promo code JY248974 to get your free $20 – feel free to leave your referral code in the comments section as well.

Overall…

While there are not a ton of items for purchase through the site, you should absolutely be able to find something that works for you!

Giftagram seems to be a great place if you need to send a baby gift, engagement gift, client gift, birthday gift, etc. While I am not sure I’d use Giftagram too often, it does seem like a great place for certain types of gifts. I can foresee my husband using it often when he needs to send a client some sort of care package (and on an expense account!).

Anyone find a good buy?!

I’d be cautious trying to combine these offers unless someone reports success here. Drop is clear in the terms that the 30,000 points offer can’t be combined with other offers. I’ve had Drop points not post because I used an Amex offer, so it seems clear that they have the data to determine if you’ve used a promo code, etc.

I would not use any other code except the one who gave me the information. That’s just rotten for folks to be putting their own codes out. Get your own blog people! Thanks dealawelike!

I tried using your drop app promo code when signing up, but it keeps saying error. Maybe your promo code expired.
