Starwood is sending out an exclusive offer to those who have the Starwood Preferred guest credit card and it is pretty good! All you have to do is spend $1,500 on eligible purchases on your card by August 10, 2018 and you’ll receive a $50 statement credit. You can take advantage of this offer two times so ultimately spend $3,000 and receive a $100 statement credit. UPDATE: It seems as though this may be a targeted offer.
This is actually a pretty generous offer as it doesn’t require too much spend, you have over 3 months to spend the money (so an average of $1,000 per month), and you’ll receive quite a bit back! Of course, if you are not able to spend this amount on your card, you can always consider using Plastiq to pay bills that typically do not take credit card (i.e., your accountant, plumber, landscaper, preschool, kids camps, contractor, etc.). While Plastiq does charge a 2.5% fee, you’ll still come out ahead with the statement credit you’ll receive. You can learn more about Plastiq here in this prior blog post.

So, this was not offered in an e-mail but on the AMEX website when I enrolled a new card (after losing my wallet).
I got it as an AmEx offer. When I clicked register card I got an internal error message. Has anyone been able to register.
