Yesterday I received an email offering me an extra 50,000 Hilton points! It looks like it is a targeted email and they are trying to lure my back to their brand of hotels. I must admit, it has been some time since I last stayed at a Hilton hotel.
The offer said that if I stay 4 nights over the next 90 days I’ll receive an extra 50,000 points. This is a pretty lucrative offer since it is 4 nights and not 4 stays. The other good thing about this offer is that the 90 nights can start whenever I choice. I just need to register for the offer by January 7, 2016. The 90 day period will start the day I register. In the terms of the offer it does state “Offer is valid for the recipient of this email only and is non-transferable.” With that being said, I still recommend registering and see what happens. I haven’t yet tested it as I do not want my 90 day period to start now. This winter there is a chance I’ll actually have 4 nights with Hilton so I want to push out my 90 day period until then.
Also, no where in the terms does it state that the 4 nights need to be a paid stay. It simply says stay 4 nights. This means that nights using points might qualify. I am not 100% certain and it can absolutely be an oversight on Hilton’s part. Although, for those that register now and do not get points on a points stay, you definitely have a leg up to fight for the points if they don’t post.

They must really want to lure your back
Just saw this so I decided to call and see if I could enroll since I didn’t receive the email, and I’m a Gold Member with the Amex Surpass card. After speaking with a representative, they said it was only sent to people who had HHonors accts with no activity over the last 24 months. The program was designed to get them to spend again. She said I wouldn’t be eligible to enroll, and only people with no activity within 24 months would be. Bummer!

Nothing happens when I try to register…just reloads the landing page. Not sure if it went through or not.
