New Southwest Airlines Routes!

Southwest just announced a bunch of new routes that will start this summer. This is a great enhancement to the current route map and will definitely open up more options for fliers throughout the United States. These flights take affect June 7, 2015 unless otherwise noted.

8 new nonstop flights added:

  • Austin to Orange County
  • Austin to St. Louis
  • Boston to Indianapolis
  • Indianapolis to Los Angeles
  • Los Angeles to Portland
  • Nashville to Oakland
  • New Orleans to Oakland
  • Puerto Vallarta to Orange County (more about this in a dedicated blog post later today)

13 new seasonal flights for weekday travel:

  • Albuquerque to Orlando
  • Atlanta to Seattle
  • Austin to Portland (effective June 28, 2015)
  • Austin to San Jose Del Cabo
  • Baltimore to Portland
  • Boise to Chicago
  • Houston to Portland
  • Houston to Seattle
  • Kansas City to Seattle
  • Los Angeles to Omaha
  • Nashville to Seattle
  • Seattle to St. Louis
  • Spokane to Chicago

6 new seasonal flights for Saturday travel:

  • Albany to Denver (effective June 28, 2015)
  • Baltimore to San Jose Del Cabo (effective June 28, 2015)
  • Chicago to Portland (effective June 28, 2015)
  • Houston to Salt Lake City
  • Las Vegas to Manchester, NH
  • Norfolk to Tampa

2 flights being discontinued:

  • Ft. Myers to Hartford
  • Ft. Myers to Milwaukee

These are some great additions and I am glad to see another international destination open up to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. You can read more about these new routes here.
