This week only (through April 1, 2017), Staples is selling Hotels.com gift cards at a 20% discount. This is a great way to save money on an upcoming hotel stay, either a chain or boutique reservation – you just need to book through Hotels.com. This is an in-store offer only and there doesn’t seem to be a limit on the number of gift cards you can purchase.
While you can only use one gift card per hotel reservation, Hotels.com allows you to easily combine gift cards. That means you ultimately can use as many $50 gift cards as you desire on a single reservation. And since this is a gift card, you can also combine this with any Hotels.com promo code. Make sure to sign up for a Hotels.com account as they’ll send you offer codes quite often. I’d say I get a 10% offer code on average twice a month, although there are some excluded hotels when using the code.
Also, remember to use a credit card that will give you 5x point when making a purchase at an Office Supply Store. Some of those cards include the Chase Ink business cards and the Amex SimplyCash cards.
Thanks to Danny the Deal Guru for sharing this offer.

When you buy in-store does Staples give level 3 data on your statement?
@nice – I’ve personally never looked. I am not sure.
The Hotels.com gift cards were out of stock at my local Staples store, and also are out of stock online.
