Spend $5,000, Earn 5,000 SPG Points

Yesterday I received an offer in my email to earn 5,000 bonus SPG points. All I have to do is spend $5,000 on my Starwood Preferred American Express credit card between now and April 30, 2017. While SPG is just one of many everyday go-to-cards, I can easily switch my spending to that card until I hit the spend requirement. You MUST enroll for the offer prior to January 31, 2017.

Make sure to check your email to see if you are eligible. The email came from “americanexpress@member.americanexpress.com” with the subject: “Jennifer, thank you for being a Starwood Preferred Guest® Card Member” (obviously yours would say your particular name and not Jennifer!). Or, you can just try registering here. I am not sure if this is a targeted offer or if all Starwood Preferred Guest American Express credit card members are eligible. Based on the email, it looks like this is for the personal version of the card and not the business version.
