Chase just announced an amazing offer for their Ink Business Cash® Credit Card — 75,000 Chase Ultimate Reward points. This is the best ever publicly available offer for this card that I am aware of and definitely a card you should consider! I actually do not have this card, so will 100% be applying for it over the weekend! And fortunately I am not above Chase’s “5/24” rule. Unfortunately this rule is subject to Chase’s “5/24” rule, BUT since it is a business card does not count towards the magical 5 number. Make sure to apply for this card prior to any personal credit cards.
Key Link:
- Ink Business Cash® Credit Card: Earn 75,000 Chase Ultimate Reward points after you spend $7,500 on the card within the first 3 months. No annual fee.
Keep in mind that this is advertised as $750 cash back, where you can redeem your Chase Ultimate Reward points for cash back (75,000 points = $750 cash back) or you can pick a few other ways to redeem your points and potentially get a much better value (read below).
Earning Points
With this card, you’ll earn the following bonus points:
- 5x points at office supply stores, internet, cable, and phone services. This is capped at $25,000 spent per anniversary year.
- 2x points at gas stations and restaurants. This is capped at $25,000 spent per anniversary year.
- 1x point on all other purchases. No cap!
So this is a great card for those category that earn 5x points. While I personally use my Chase Ink Preferred to pay my cell phone bill (due to the insurance benefit), using this card would earn me way more points on an already expensive monthly bill.
Redeeming your Points
As mentioned above, if you have a “premier” card, such as the Chase Ink Preferred, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Ink Bold, Chase Ink Plus, you can transfer the points earned from your Chase Ink Cash account to one of those accounts. That will then allow you to have more flexibility when redeeming your points. Instead of only being able to earn cash back on your points, you can instead transfer your points to a partner loyalty program (such as Hyatt, Marriott, Ritz, United, British Airways Avios, Iberia Avios, etc.). Or, you can use your points to book travel through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal. If you do not have a Chase account, then you’ll just earn cash back where 1 point = 1 cent.
Are you eligible for the sign up offer?
Here is a list of Q&A’s that should help determine whether or not you are eligible for the sign up offer. Unless you’ve been approved for 5 or more personal credit cards in the past 24 months, the chances are that you are eligible!
- If I currently have this card, am I eligible? This offer is only available to those that are not a current cardmember and who have not received a sign up offer for this card in the past 24 months.
- If I have another Chase Ultimate Rewards credit card, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Preferred, Chase Ink Bold, etc. am I eligible for the sign up offer? Yes!! This is it’s own separate product. If you currently have or used to have another Chase Ultimate Rewards card you are still eligible for the sign up bonus for the Chase Ink Business Cash card.
- Is this card subject to Chase’s “5/24” rule? Unfortunately yes. If you have been approved for 5 or more cards that show up on your personal credit report in the past 24 months, Chase will automatically deny you for this card.
- If I am trying to stay under Chase’s “5/24” will applying for this card hurt me? No! Since it is a business credit card, this card will not count against you for trying to stay under 5 approvals. This is one reason why I love applying for business credit cards!
- If I just recently applied for another Chase credit card, will Chase still approve me for this card? Chase typically only allows you to be approved for 2 Chase cards every 30 days. So if you’ve only applied for 1 in the past 30 days, you are good!
- If I already have this card under one business, can I apply as well for another business I have? To be honest, I am not 100% sure. In the past, the answer used to be yes! But I have not had any personal experience in the past 2 years nor can I find many success stories. I am doing some investigating and will make sure to get back to you all on this!
- If I do not have a registered business with an EIN can I still apply? Chase has definitely been more strict recently with approving folks for business credit cards. With that being said, it is definitely possible and I would still apply regardless! You could just be starting a business, already have a very small business where you sell stuff online, getting into real estate, really anything could be considered a small business! You just want to use your Social Security number during the application process. With business applications though there is a really good chance that your application will go into a pending status and you’ll have to call the reconsideration line to be considered for approval.
Overall..
As you can tell, I am very excited about the increased offer for this card. As of right now I am not sure how long this limited time offer will last for, but I am glad to see it is publicly available and not only for targeted accounts. And while this is a business credit card, if you do not have a documented business, you can use your social security number during the application process.

Yahoo! Costa Rica is even closer now! Thanks!
This is great! So I just closed my chase sapphire card in Jan. Can I still get the points if I apply because this is a business card? Not sure …
Any idea how long this offer will be around? I fall under 5/24 in mid April.
@VK – I assume it will be available till mid-April, not 100% sure. Good chance we will know in advance when it will expire.
Do you know if I have the card already as a sole proprietor, if I can get this bonus applying under my new business with an EIN as well?
This is an amazing card and an even better bonus!
@Ryan K – let me look into that and get back to you. In the past, you were eligible to get multiple Chase Ink cards for each business (based on personal experience as well), but haven’t tried this in a while, so let me see what I find.
Thank you!
Can I get this card if I just closed my chase sapphire in January? My husband still has a chase sapphire. Can he get this one too since it’s a business card?
@Gayle – Yup! They are two completely different products. Both you and your husband are eligible (as long as you are approved)
This is AWESOME-thanks!
I know this offer is great because there’s no annual fee, but is there another business card that offers MORE mileage with an annual fee?
@Gayle – Yes, the Chase Ink Preferred (another business card), offers 80,000 points. It comes with a $95 annual fee. Personally, I’d recommend trying to get both sign up offers if possible just to fully increase your balance, but if you are only looking for one card, then the Chase Ink Preferred with the 80,000 point offer would be my #1 recommendation. The $95 fee absolutely more then pays for the 30,000 extra points.
If I have the chase Ink Bold can I switch products or would I not get the 50k points?
@Kelly – Unfortunately you would not get the 50,000 points.
You said it is a business card so it does not count toward 5/24? So the Marriott business is the same situation?
Thank you
Hoang
@Hoang – That is correct! And actually, the Marriott business credit card is one of the few Chase cards that is NOT subject to Chase’s “5/24” rule – this means that even if you are above 5/24 you are still eligible.
Can you get this card if you are under 5/24 and already have the Ink Plus and Chase Marriott business cards (but planning to drop Chase Marriott business when annual fee comes due next month).
@PSL – Yes!
i clicked on the link and it now shows $500 cash back instead of 50,000 points? am i missing something?
@gayle – $500 cash back is the same as 50,000 points. You just cash out the 50,000 points for $500 in cash back, or you can transfer to a more “premier” card if you have one.
that’s what i thought – they’re advertising it as $500 cash back, not points. so wasn’t sure if points were an option?
thanks!
