Virgin America is trying something new in the airline industry – they will price match for you if you find a better competitors flight! They are calling this theirĀ “Love Match” offer. This is currently only for flights into and out of Dallas Love Field for travel through March 31, 2015. This is a very cool concept and I’d love to see them roll it out to other markets and maybe other airlines will follow suit!

To be eligible for the fare match, you must bookĀ a non-refundable main cabin nonstop airfare purchase through Virgin America’s online site. Tickets purchased through a third-party reservation system are ineligible.

The competitors fare must also be non-stop and operate the exact same city pairs. The flight also must depart on the same day and within 2 hours of your originally booked flight on Virgin America.

To file for a price match, you must fill out this form by 11:59pm CT the same day as you made your Virgin America reservation. The form asks you to fill out your Virgin America flight information as well as the competitors flight with a screen shot. I suggest taking the screen shotĀ right away and submitting the form immediately. It will be interesting to see how this plays out as we all know fares change constantly.
