If you haven’t been paying attention to Amex Offers recently, now might be a time to start tuning in. Amex Offers just came out with a new offer where you’ll receive $20 off a $100 or more purchase at ZOLA. What is ZOLA you might ask? It is a wedding registry site that not only sells your traditional wedding items, but many gift cards. All you have to do is add a $100 gift card to your card, check out, and you’ll receive the $20 back as a statement credit — just make sure to activate the offer first.
Gift cards include: Disney, AirBnB, Delta, DoorDash, Southwest Airlines, Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Hotels.com, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Petco, Uber and more.
To enroll in this offer:
- Sign into your AmericanExpress.com account and scroll down to the “Amex Offers & Benefits†section.
- Find the ZOLA offer and make sure to save the offer to your account. Remember, once you do this for one card the option will disappear on other cards, so make sure to save the offer on the American Express credit card you are going to use.
- Spend $100+ at Zola.com The transaction must hit your credit card by June 11, 2020.
Get an extra $50 for free!
In addition to the Amex Offer above, you can also get an extra $50 for free to Zola by creating a wedding registry by signing up through a referral link. (Thanks in advance to those who sign up through my link). You can then go ahead and refer others and continue to receive a referral bonus when friends sign up as well. The one caveat is that to earn the extra $50 in credit, the registry has to have a sale of at least $50 or more. My assumption is purchasing a $100 gift card would trigger this, but I am still figuring out their referral program. (Stay tuned).
Even though you might not be traveling right now, this is a great way to purchase a gift card at a discount to save money on future travel purchases. I personally will be purchasing a DoorDash gift card as it is something I will use almost immediately for local takeout while being stuck at home.
