If you have any Amazon purchases you are looking to make, Chase is helping you stack your savings — simply by using your Chase Ultimate Reward points. While this is a targeted offer, it seems as though many accounts I tried are eligible for this promotion. With this promotion you’ll receive 50% off your purchase, up to $15 savings.Â

Fortunately, you only need to use 1 point to qualify for this Amazon discount which is awesome. I do not suggest redeeming more points at it is typically a poor value. This promotion applies only to eligible items, which means those sold and fulfilled by Amazon qualify for the discount. And if you find that you aren’t making any Amazon purchases over the next month, you can also apply the savings to third-party merchant gift cards.
This promotion is very similar to the American Express promotion that launched last week as well. Combine the two offers and you are on your way to receiving some huge savings on your upcoming purchases.

How to take advantage of this promotion:
- Link your Chase Ultimate Rewards card here
- Enroll in the offer
- Shop at Amazon.com and add your desired products (which must be sold and shipped by Amazon.com) to your Shopping cart. Remember, merchant gift card purchases work!
- On the Payment page, select “Choose a different amount†and enter the number of points you want to use towards your purchase. Entered just 1 cent means 1 point will be applied.
You will see the discount taken off on the right-hand side displaying your total amount.
Participating Chase credit cards
This will work on any Chase credit card that earns Ultimate Reward points, such as Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Freedom Unlimited.

Overall…
This is a great offer to save at Amazon, especially when you can combine it with many other saving opportunities. You can also stack your savings with any additional money-saving offers, such as up to 40% off books, $10 off a $25 office supplies purchase or any of their other daily deals.
