The deal-a-day site RueLaLa is offering a $40 voucher to the website Peek.com for $20. While I personally was not aware of the site Peek.com prior to seeing this deal, I looked into it a bit more and there are some great activities you can book in many cities. It is also a great way to get ideas of things to do while traveling to unfamiliar destinations. Destinations include: New York, Boston, Orlando, Miami, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Napa/Sonoma, Big Island, Maui, Kauai, Oahu, London, and Paris.
After some research on the site Peek.com I saw that prices aren’t anymore expensive than if you book directly with the tour itself (that was my research, you might see differently depending on what you are interested in). For example, on Peek.com you can book a ticket to go to the top of the Empire State Building for $27 (adult), $19 (child) and $22 (senior citizen). When booking directly through the Empire State Building website the prices are actually slightly higher – adult ticket is the same, but child is $21 and senior citizen is $24.
With this deal though you can get $20 off your activity, assuming the price is $40 or more. You also can only use the voucher September 30 through December 30, 2013. If you are new to RueLaLa, you can sign up here (yes, this is my referral link), but please please please feel free to post your referral link in the comments section for other readers to use!
Has anyone personally used Peek.com to book travel tours and activities, and if so, what has your experience been?
