For those flying on Alaska Airlines this winter for a ski trip, you are in luck! Alaska Airlines has partnered again with 13 ski resorts where you can get a free lift ticket just by showing your boarding pass. Just make sure to keep your Alaska Airlines boarding pass, or print out extra copies, and show your pass at the mountains sale office to redeem your complimentary lift ticket. This is by far one of the best ways to ski for free!

13 Resorts Where You Can Get a Free Lift Ticket with your Alaska Airline Boarding Pass
Alyeska Resort
Present your Alaska Airlines boarding pass and matching ID at any ticket office and ski free the day you arrive. This is only valid for Monday through Friday arrivals between Jan. 7 and April 17, 2020. Blackout dates:
- MLK Day: Monday Jan. 20, 2020
- Presidents Day: Monday Feb. 17, 2020
- Spring Break: March 9-13, 2020
Big White Ski Resort
Ski for free the same day you arrive at Big White. Simply present your same day of arrival Alaska Airlines boarding pass and ID to the Village Centre Mall ticket office and you’ll receive a lift ticket on us.
Separately, you can ski for free until Dec. 20, 2019 (including Thanksgiving!) if you book a hotel room directly through Big White Center Reservations.
Eaglecrest Ski Area
This is a new partnership this year where you can receive a free lift ticket on your arrival date. You must show your ticket and photo ID to the Eaglecrest ticket window.
Alternatively, if you are taking a ferry over with the Alaska Marine Highway System or a seaplane, those boarding tickets will also score you a free lift ticket.
Mt. Bachelor Ski ResortÂ
Fly Alaska Airlines to Redmond/Bend (RDM) and hit the slopes on the same day as your flight with a free Mt. Bachelor lift ticket, in addition to a sport ski or snowboard equipment rental package.
Red Lodge MountainÂ
Fly Alaska Airlines and ski for free on your day of departure. Simply present your boarding pass on your departure date at any Red Lodge Mountain ticket window to redeem a ticket for your stated day of departure.
- Limit one free ticket per boarding pass presented.
- Not to be combined with any other offers and has no cash value.
RED Mountain Resort
This offer has not yet been updated to reflect the 2019/2020 ski season, but based on last years offer, you’d receive a free adult ticket simply by showing your boarding pass to a RED Mountain Resort guest services member. You could then use that ticket at any point during the season.
SchweitzerÂ
Fly Alaska Airlines to Schweitzer this winter and when you show your boarding pass, you get a lift ticket to ski for free on the day you arrive in Spokane! Offer is valid for day of flight arrival in Spokane only.
Ski Marmot BasinÂ
Present your Alaska boarding pass or itinerary and photo identification at Marmot Basin Guest Services and you can select from one of these offers:
- Free full day lift ticket, or
- A 3-consecutive day lift ticket for the price of a 2-day lift ticket
Note:Â This offer is not currently live on the Marmot Basin site, so this is based off of last years offer. Hopefully it will return again this year.
Snowbasin
This offer has not yet been updated to reflect the 2019/2020 ski season, but hopefully we will see it return again for this year. Based on last years offer, if you flew on a Mon., Tues. or Wed, you’d receive a free lift ticket for the day following your flight on Tues., Wed. or Thurs.
Squaw Valley | Alpine MeadowsÂ
Guests arriving on Alaska Airlines can ski or ride for free. Present your same day Alaska Airlines boarding pass with a matching photo ID at the Guest Services and Sales Center at Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows and receive a complimentary full-day lift ticket valid from 9am-4pm.
Steamboat Ski Resort
Show your Alaska Airlines boarding pass, for travel from Seattle or San Diego to Steamboat Springs (HDN) airport, to the Steamboat ticket office and get a free day of skiing on your departure date.
Note:Â You can also get a free night lift ticket on your arrival day when flying into HDN on any other commercial airline. If you have a Tues. or Wed. arrival, you can ski for free Thurs. night.
Sun Valley
While this will not get you a free lift ticket, you can receive one of these two offers with your lift ticket:
- Free sport package rental at Pete Lane’s Mountain Sports the day after arrival
- 50% off adult group lesson the day after arrival
Whitefish Resort
This offer is not yet updated for the 2019/2020 ski season, but if the offer is similar to last year, you’ll be able to ski for free on your day of departure. With last years offer, only those arriving from Portland and Seattle were eligible.
